Here we go! The symbolic groundbreaking ceremony officially marked the start of our new construction project in the Rickenbach industrial area, “Im Schaffeld”. Over the coming months, our new company headquarters will take shape there, featuring a modern production hall, welcoming office wing, and spacious exhibition area on two levels.
With an investment of 3.5 million euros, we at MANZ DÖBELE GmbH are making a strong statement in support of craftsmanship, quality, and a forward-looking approach to sauna construction. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2025.
More room for ideas - and for people
“With this hall, we’re investing in the future,” says project owner Steffen Manz, who is overseeing the new construction together with his wife, Annalena Manz. Since taking over the long-established company Saunabau Döbele in 2023, we’ve accomplished a lot - and the new building is the next big step.
We’re especially pleased that the new building will create new jobs right here in Rickenbach. We’re creating modern working conditions, more space, and an environment where ideas can flourish for our team.
Design meets functionality
The new site combines modern design with clear functionality: The new production hall is perfectly suited to our workshop processes. In the office wing, large windows and an open layout create a welcoming working environment. And in the new exhibition area across two floors, we’ll showcase everything that’s possible in custom sauna construction - from outdoor saunas to private wellness areas.
Working with strong partners
The project is being carried out by Bruno Kaiser GmbH from Bernau, an experienced construction company from the region. This is an important sign for us: We’re committed not only to innovation, but also to reliability and regional collaboration.
Support from the community
We’ve also received plenty of positive feedback from the Rickenbach community. At the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Mayor Matthias Vogt personally congratulated us, saying he was pleased to see the fresh energy the project would bring to the industrial area. “This is a strong sign of our region’s development.”
We’ll keep you up to date
The groundbreaking ceremony was just the beginning - and we’ll take you along with us! In the construction diary on our website, we’ll regularly share updates, photos, and news about the progress of the build. So be sure to check back from time to time!
